A mission agency narrows its focus to train Church leaders in Zimbabwe.

By November 22, 2004

Zimbabwe (MNN)–OC International estimates that 80 percent of church leaders in Zimbabwe will never have the opportunity to receive formal Bible school training.

That’s because they are bi-vocational leaders dependent on training they can glean from workshops and conferences.

In light of this need, one goal of Target 2010 for 2004 is to conduct 20 consultations throughout the country. Two OCI missionaries, and a team of Target 2010 leaders recently taught 270 pastors in six regional training consultations covering Zimbabwe’s northern provinces.

This first round of consultations served as an important momentum builder and were followed by another series of ten provincial consultations.
