USA (MNN)–Visual mediums have the power to influence and inspire millions across the globe.
The phenomenon of “The Passion of the Christ” sparked a revival of sorts. With that in mind, Evangelist Sammy Tippit is excited about their most recent project. “The Platinum Television Group came to us and they were wanting to do a special on Christianity because of what they see happening in our culture here in the West, and one of the parts of that special, they wanted to do about the outreach, what’s happening around the world with Christianity.”
Sammy Tippit Ministries became one of the three minutes segments that is aired on this special program for the show “Today’s Family.” Except in STM’s case, they will air a six-minute segment instead.
Tippit explains why Platinum contacted their ministry. “They felt like what we’re doing to reach into some of these difficult and dark areas of the world was something that the American public was not aware of and needed to be made aware of and so for us, this is very helpful to really let people know what we’re doing.”
Shows for Platinum typically air on Pax TV, but they will eventually be shown on ABC Family and The Hallmark channels as well.
This month, Platinum will air the Faith program on PAX TV- in Texas, Georgia, and Louisiana.
