An outreach gets ready to dedicate the next phase of their work in Germany.

Germany (MNN)–Evangelical Baptist Missions is requesting prayer for this weekend. They have a team in Germany ready to dedicate a new church in Vilseck.

The EBM missionary team’s work is reaching the military men and women in the area with the Gospel. It’s a reality that has been born out of decades of groundwork.

Missionaries with EBM entered the field of Germany in 1977. Three years later, a work was started in Hamburg with a traditional church planting approach. Since that time, several churches have been established, including an English-speaking congregation near a military base.

That work has grown over the years, leading to the need for a new facility. This week, the team transferred their ministry into the new building. They’re wrapping up the last-minute details of the move and ask for prayer that they’ll be able to complete it in a timely manner.

The team is excited about this new provision and hope that it will be used to bring God glory in the years ahead. In the meantime, they have learned that many of the people they’ve come to know will be leaving the base in the next 3 to 6 months.

Pray for this transition for the families as well as for the church and pray for the continued outreach of the church in the lives of the new soldiers and families who make the base their new home.
