Bible translation team issues call for help in Asia

By October 3, 2008

Asia (MNN) — Wycliffe Associates
is putting together a team of volunteers to build a recording studio in Asia
next month.

The new studio will help the
translation team produce biblical materials recently translated into minority
languages in both audio and video formats for wider distribution through ministry
partners.

Wycliffe is looking for a team of
up to eight people who have construction skills including carpenters,
electricians, and handymen.

The trip will
take place from November 2-16 and will be led by Dave and Marie Delmedico,
long-term Wycliffe Associates staff members.

The Delmedicos have
led several construction teams in the region to build apartments, school
facilities, and a translator's village house.

Four of Wycliffe
Associates' strategic organizational partners working throughout Asia have
offices in the region.
