Blog will help communicate God’s work through radio

By November 14, 2008

USA (MNN) — Newsletters, post-cards, websites and prayer letters are all used to help communicate with listeners, donors, supporters and friends. Trans World Radio is using a new tool to help communicate with people every day — the Judy Blog.

John Summerville with Trans World Radio says there is so much information coming in from the field. "We need to let the people know about this. And, office representative Judy Claus is starting the Judy Blog. This was launched last week, and it's already catching fire."

Summerville adds, "This time next year, the Judy Blog will be the most-read item from Trans World Radio beyond the website, beyond our PR publications, and those things. I think the Judy Blog will actually have the greatest readership of all the pieces that TWR produces."

Summerville hopes this will expand the base of TWR. "With this Judy Blog, not only will we be reaching people who are already plugged in to Trans World Radio and engaged in with the ministry, but also we want to reach out to people who have never heard about Trans World Radio. And this Judy Blog has the ability to be viral and infectious."

You can get connected to the Judy Blog at http://www.TWR.org/judyblog.

TWR broadcasts programming in 225 languages on more than 2,000 radio outlets. Pray that God will raise up more supporters of their work so even more people can hear the message of the Gospel.
