Children in Ghana respond to the Gospel.

By June 29, 2004

Ghana (MNN)–Every Child Ministries reports good news from the school ministry team in Ghana, West Africa.

In spite of terrible weather that slowed the team down, the schools were open to their visit.

Children who saw the van arriving organized themselves for a Bible lesson without teachers or administrators to help. The students gathered benches, tables and chairs outside, then set up books and flannel boards for the team.

All told, 120 children gathered on their own to hear the Gospel. One of the parents told the team leader that the teachers were planning strike in the near future. The team already had plans to return to the same village to teach another lesson. Parents assured the ECM team that if they commit to teaching, the children will be there.

Please keep praying for volunteers to work in the school ministry after the team leaves.
