China (MNN) — Voice of the Martyrs Canada reports that a Christian bookstore owner was arrested when 20 members of the Public Security Bureau raided his Christian bookstore on November 28 near the Olympic Village in Beijing.

Mr. Weihan Shi is a husband with two young daughters. The others who were arrested along with Shi, including his wife, have already been released from prison. However, Shi has not been allowed to see his family or consult a lawyer, according to the latest report.

Shi has diabetes which is causing concern over his health since he does not have access to medication. Also, Shi's wife and daughters have gone into hiding for fear that another attack could present itself before legal action has been taken.
