Christians needed for Japan outreach

By January 19, 2009

Japan (MNN) — Have you ever considered going on a short-term mission trip where you can have an impact on someone's life? If you haven't, I'm sure you've known someone who is looking for a great intercultural missions experience.

Asian Access, a mission agency dedicated to developing leaders and planting churches across Japan, holds its annual missionwide retreat each year in the beautiful, snowy mountains of Nagano. The purpose of this retreat is to equip and refresh missionaries who serve alongside Japanese congregations.

This year, Asian Access needs a team of 6-10 people to invest in children in the mission so that they can shine Christ in this dark country. In past years, children's ministry teams have run a program much like a Vacation Bible School ministry. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who loves kids and would like the chance to serve (in English!) in Japan. You would also have some great interaction with missionaries from all over the country!

The ministry dates are March 3-9, 2009. There is also potential to participate in ministry elsewhere in Japan around the conference dates.
