By October 20, 2008

Latin America (MNN) — Trans World Radio is beginning a new outreach program specifically directed to urban areas across the continent.

The City Lights Program is designed to connect American churches with Latin American churches to bring Christ-centered radio to the city. The project will be spread into 50 cities in 10 Latin American countries.

The idea is to provide Christian broadcasting that many of these countries have never had before. Programs include stories for children, Bible studies and broadcasts for women and families. The programs are practical and applicable, combining godly teaching with day to day tasks and concerns.

One listener from Venezuela commented on the impact City Lights has already had on his Christian walk, providing teaching he had never before had access to.

Trans World Radio is excited about this project had has already enjoyed a great amount of success. Pray that the City Lights program would transform the lives of its listeners that we might multiply and strengthen God's kingdom on Earth.
