ELWA celebrates 50th Anniversary

LIBERIA (MNN) –ELWA marks their 50th anniversary of sharing the Gospel to the people of Liberia. SIM International HCJB World Radio have partnered together for a ministry where local believers are trained to operate the radio ministry of ELWA.

On Sunday, January 18th, an official celebration was held. Sub-Saharan Africa Director Lee Sonius attended the celebrations in Monrovia while simultaneous events took place at SIM’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
They are praising the Lord that the station has been able to operate for 50 years and that it has survived the 15 years of civil war.
