Launching a website helps churches in Africa with resources.

Africa (MNN)–It’s well known that there are many places in the world where resources are hard to come by for church leaders.

In answer to this need, Every Child Ministries has launched a new website. ECM’s Lorella Rouster says www. teachingafrica.com is a kind of one-stop shop for ministry leaders in Africa. “It offers teaching material, educational resources, Bible lessons, training materials for African churches, and it’s available in eight different languages right now, including English.”

Materials can be downloaded for free in French, English, Lingala, Swahili, Tshiluba, Spanish, Portuguese and Kituba.

Rouster says because mission agencies can’t physically be in all places that need the resources, the website can be a useful tool. “We are hoping that there will be a great encouragement to the church in having materials available, teaching lessons and so on because we constantly hear that resources are the greatest needs in the churches.”

Rouster says they’re looking for African language translators to help them expand their outreach. Specifically, they’re looking for people (fluent in English) who can help translate their resources into Hausa, Zulu, Arabic, Yoruba, Xhosa, Afrikaans, Amharic, Dinka, Nama and Somali.
