More violence in the Plateau state of Nigeria.

Nigeria (MNN) — Another Christian died at the hands of militant Muslims in Nigeria at the end of December.

According to Compass Direct, Christian community leader Davou Bulle was killed and his wife and son were critically injured when Muslim militants attacked the family as they returned from their farm. Police arrested eight suspects in the attack, all Muslims.

The violence comes just weeks after the Nigerian government lifted a six-month state of emergency on the Plateau state. Three years of religious violence between Muslims and Christians have left thousands dead, the majority of them Christians.

Pray that Christians will find strength and safety in Jesus, and that Muslims will come to know Jesus as the Prince of Peace.
