Pakistan (MNN) — Pakistan’s ISIS branch has launched a new Urdu-language magazine, titled Invasion. It details ISIS operations in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Syria, and praises recent terrorist attacks in those countries. Read more here.

Nehemiah of FMI says the goal is, “To spread its messages and sway public opinion. But surprisingly, the state of Pakistan still denies the existence of ISIS in Pakistan.”

The magazine features 30 pages of professionally produced content, including pictures. One article title reads We Have Come to Slaughter You. Another article tells readers how they can join violent actions in Syria.

No voice for Christians

By contrast, Christians have no voice in Pakistan. Nehemiah says the military controls media throughout the country. “This is one of the reasons that when incidents happen in Pakistan (such as rapes, kidnappings for ransom, killings, and attacks on the churches) there is no report to the international media.”

Ask the Holy Spirit to challenge this fear and hatred that has taken such a hold on Pakistani society. Nehemiah says, “Pray for the situation in Pakistan. Because the development of ISIS, their presence, and how they are recruiting people from Pakistan is not a good sign for coming days, especially for the Christians.”
