Satellite TV viewing is increasing in Iraq, helping Christians share the Gospel.

By October 8, 2003

Iraq (MNN) — Satellite television may be the tool used to help share the Gospel in Iraq. According to SAT-7, Christian television for the Middle East and North Africa, one of their staff members recently returned from a trip to Iraq.

He reports that many people are now buying satellite dishes (which were illegal under the former regime) and some churches are recording SAT-7 programs off of the air.

Believers are distributing these programs to people who have little or no other access to Christian material. These Christians ask for prayers for their country, prayers for security, stability, and that they will be able to continue to enjoy the freedom from government interference that they now have.
