Sole’D Out: a follow-up to ministry efforts

By October 12, 2007

USA (MNN) — Here's the happy ending to a story we told you
about last month.

KVTT radio listeners throughout North Texas donated more
than 4,000 pairs of shoes during the Sole-d out Concert for Buckner
International's 'Shoes for Orphan Souls'
outreach.

‘Shoes for Orphan Souls' has distributed more than 1.5
million pairs of new shoes to at-risk children in
the United States and to orphans in 55 countries around the world.

Says Fletcher Anderson, president of KVTT, "We wanted to do
something in the community that would benefit people around the world–not just
in Dallas, and we know that giving shoes is something people can relate
to."

Every pair of shoes makes a big difference to the child who
gets them. Through the distributions at the orphanages, the team is sharing
hope in Jesus' name with children who have broken lives.

Please pray for the children living in orphanages throughout
the world and for those individuals who are working to collect shoes. Volunteers are needed to travel overseas to
deliver the shoes to the children. Click here if you
want to help.
