(El Salvador)–Topping the news, more bodies are being found in the rubble of Tuesday’s earthquake in El Salvador. The new quake added to the country’s woes, causing further damage to the infrastructure, cutting aid off to some areas. Latin America Mission’s Ken MacHarg has more in this report. “Pastor Mario Palencia says that the team of doctors and dentists from his church are redoubling their efforts to help those who have been affected by the latest quake. Over two thousand were reported injured. Hundreds more remain missing and are believed dead. Dr. Palencia reports that there was chaos following Tuesday’s quake and in general, the population is very nervous. He says that his church is preparing packets of food to deliver to those who are affected while daily trips are being made to those areas that many agencies have bypassed. He requests urgent prayer and help for the people of El Salvador. The Latin America Mission has already sent funds to help Dr. Palencia’s church and is still receiving donations for relief efforts. For Mission Network News, I’m Ken MacHarg.”
