(Kenya)–We begin today in Africa where HIV/AIDS, civil war and famine are plaguing that continent. As government leaders look for answers, Christians may be the only ones that can make a difference. Doctor David Shibley is with Global Advance. “When pastors really see the full scope of the redemption that Jesus has purchased for us on the cross, then they begin to get a vision for what that can do in the lives of their nation. And, they begin to establish programs that begin to change the social structure.” That’s why Global Advance held their 29th Frontline Shepherd’s conference in Kenya last week. “What was particularly encouraging was to see literally hundreds of these pastors commit to plant at least one new church within the next 12 months. So, I believe that this area is going to see a real rapid expansion of the Gospel. And, that we will see a great surge of missionaries coming from the African continent.”
