(Israel)–War in Israel headlines today’s news and that declaration is having an impact on evangelism in the Holy Land. That’s the word from the Southern Baptist International Mission Board’s Mark Snowden. Snowden says many more people seem interested in the Gospel. “Our personnel are really excited to see in spite of all of this turmoil, they are finding that people are actually raising the questions more than they ever have – ‘now what does Christianity have to say about conflict?’ People are requesting Jesus Films and discussing Christianity at record pace.” Snowden says Israeli Christians need prayer. “They would ask that they would have a desire to be as effective for sharing what the Good News of Jesus Christ is all about. And, that they would not succumb to fear, but have instead awareness for opportunities to share the Gospel.”
