(Haiti)–Haiti tops today’s news, as supporters of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his opposition are clashing. The opposition claims Aristide won the election last year through fraud. For Haiti with Love runs a food and medical care program there. For Haiti’s Eva DeHart says the situation is bad. “Their government structure is just paralyzed. So, everything is just at a standstill. The international aid isn’t going in. The worse things get, I guess, the more opportunity for serving the Lord, the more they realize that He’s they’re only answer.” Despite the violence, there are no plans to move out of the area. In fact, they have until June to raise 200-thousand dollars so they can keep their Haiti Headquarters open. They’re asking for special help because…”With the increased demands on the food program we can’t divert any of the other funding that we’re getting because without the medical program, without the food program we don’t need the headquarters.”
