(Nigeria) — Headlining today’s news, the violence between Christians and Muslims isn’t stopping an effort to get Christian radio on the air in Nigeria. High Adventure Ministries Paul Hunter. “We got a phone call from our partners in Nigeria that we have just been granted a license, with our friends in Nigeria, to put on a high power FM station (on the air) near the capitol. And, it’ll have far reaching implications to reach the Muslims for Christ.” Hunter says they need experienced Christian broadcasters to help put this station on the air. He’s also praying that funding will allow them to fulfill this need for Christian radio. “We need to raise about $25,000 right now to be able to complete the order for the equipment, now that we have the technical specifications for the equipment. We hope to have that on the air probably with in the first two to three months of 2002.” Pray that many will come to Christ as they hear the Good News.
