(USA)–We begin today in the United States where a thirst for spiritual things continues among New Yorkers. Because of that, BLI is heading to Ground Zero today to help quench that thirst. BLI’s Sharon Holbrook and four others will be handing out ‘Hope Packets.’ “We hope to give these to hurting and needy people. And, we also hope that we will be able to talk with them and pray with them. They’re searching so much there. And, maybe reach out to some of the firemen and the policemen and some of the surviving members.” The packets contain scripture booklets and tracts to help lead people to Christ. BLI’s Public Relations Director Mike Chiapperino. “We do covet the prayers of the listeners, just asking that the Lord would use this literature and use his word, which we know is promised will not return void.” 40-dollars can help purchase ‘Hope Packets’ for five people.
