Story number 2 for 1 Mar 2001

(Turkmenistan)–Elsewhere, the Keston Institute reports that evangelicals might have another opportunity to appeal the confiscation of their church in the Turkmen capital. The city court found flaws in the original district court decision and returned the case. That means the whole process will have to start from the beginning, for a second time. According to the church’s pastor, court proceedings are slated to begin today. Please pray for believers in Turkmenistan, as they face government oppression under a restrictive religion law.
