(USA)–Next, as the U-S searches for the perpetrators of the horrific terrorist attacks, anger is turning toward both Arabs and Muslims. SAT-7 is an indigenous-language satellite television ministry for Christians in the Middle East and North Africa. SAT-7’s Chairman, Dr. Habib Badr (buh-DAHR) had this to say: “We are faced here with nothing less than a diabolic act-a tragic loss of life-tremendous damage and destruction. Immense suffering. And yet, we as Christians, especially Christians in the Middle East, are a people of hope, a people of faith, and a people of love.” Badr says there is a great need for prayer. “This is an occasion for us, as Christians from the Middle East and from the West, from America and from Lebanon and all over the Arab world, to unite, to exhibit our love and our forgiveness, to work for the reconciliation that must be effected, in order that this kind of work of hatred shall stop.”
