(USA)–Meanwhile, we begin a series of reports on youth evangelism in the United States. Dare 2 Share Ministries International has one mission and purpose. The Executive Director of Dare 2 Share is Greg Steir (steer). “Dare 2 Share has a very singular purpose and it’s just to energize a generation to evangelize the world. And, our mission is to train and equip and motivate and mobilize an army of Christian students across America to live and give their faith and the share the Gospel of the Jesus Christ with their peers, on their campuses and in their communities.” One part of their evangelistic program, says Stier, is the “Prayer, Dare, Share” strategy. “It’s a partnership between the youth leader and the student. The youth leader will do a high quality meeting and the student will invite their unsaved friends out. They youth leader will commit to give the Gospel and the student will commit to follow up afterward and ask their friend what they thought of that presentation. And so, it is a church based partnership that we’re seeing extreme success in across the nation.” Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at Dare 2 Share’s youth evangelism training.
