(Iraq)–Elsewhere, World Concern says at least 4,000 families in Mozul, Iraq are in need of immediate assistance. Many of the families worked with the United Nations ‘ Oil-For-Food’ program, but were unable to supplement that aid. World Concern is among the first sending relief assessment teams into Iraq since the war. Teams say local church partners are well structured to provide humanitarian aid and there is good cooperation between Muslims and Christians to help all families in need.
