(India)–Next, despite the challenges facing evangelistic outreach in India, thousands are turning to Christ. Many are doing so in response to Dayspring International’s movie on the life of Christ. Dayspring’s John Gilman just returned from India. “In India, the people are certainly some of the most religious people on the face of the earth, and they have a great hunger for spiritual knowledge in their life. And, when they see our all Indian-acted life of Christ motion picture, it overwhelms them. And, so many of them ask for prayer. And, they have the evidence of the living Christ at work in their life.” Gilman says the only thing holding them back is support for more film teams. “Each team can effectively reach up to 100,000 people in a year. So, we just have a sense of urgency. We can provide the equipment and sponsor a team for an entire year for about $9,500.”
