Story number 2 for 2 Oct 2002

By October 2, 2002

(Pakistan)–Next, Christian leaders will stage nationwide protests this week in Pakistan to condemn the killings of seven Christian charity workers in Karachi September 25th. No arrests have been made in the case. The killings ended a lull in recent attacks on Christian and Western targets blamed on Islamic militants since Pakistan joined the U.S. war on terror in neighboring Afghanistan and decided to crack down on extremists at home. Please pray for the safety of believers in Pakistan at this time.
