(Afghanistan)–Meanwhile, Afghanistan officials say the eight foreign aid workers arrested on charges of preaching Christianity will be put on trial. The two American women are among eight aid workers who were detained August 5th, along with 16 Afghan employees of the German based, Shelter Now. There have been indications that the foreigners could face expulsion, but many fear the Afghan workers could be executed under strict Islamic law. They’re all being held on charges of spreading Christianity.
