(India)–Across the border in India, ministry leaders say the political uncertainty is having a positive and negative impact. Mission India’s John DeVries says the travel advisory is keeping him from traveling there as planned, but DeVries says the unrest isn’t slowing their children’s Bible club programs. “We will be reaching about three-million children this summer, but we had request for 5.1 million children. So, the openness and the demand by the churches to set up two-week Bible camps and then continue on with after school clubs is just going absolutely wild.” 30-dollars can help provide a teacher and training materials for 30 children and a matching grant is doubling your investment. DeVries is asking people to pray. “That God restrains the leadership of both nations. Secondly, the protection of our people. And, third, a war would be very disruptive. Wars always are disruptive to the spread of the Gospel.”
