(USA/Indonesia)–Baptist and Muslims in Indonesia are coming out condemning Tuesday’s terrorist attack on the United States. The General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance, Denton Lotz, says this kind of fanaticism must be condemned in the name of God. Lotz is in Indonesia where Baptists are meeting with government and moderate Muslim officials discussing peace. Lotz hopes this tragedy causes Christians worldwide to preach Christ’s cross, praying that people find peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
