(Kyrgyzstan)–Meanwhile, Christians are hoping a new translation of Scripture will give the church an essential tool in leading people to Christ in Kyrgyzstan. The Bible League says they’ve published the New Testament into the Kyrgyz language. Previously they only had portions of Scripture available. This translation comes at a key time as the government is considering adding restrictive provisions in its law on religion. Bible League officials are raising funds to print 20-thousand copies.
