(Ghana)–Village church planters report from Ghana that, despite strong persecution, souls are coming to Christ in the remote Volta River region. According to the International Needs Network, the changes in new believers are causing alarm for those associated with the traditional religions of the area. Meanwhile, work continues to secure release for fetish slaves in villages in the Upper Volta Region. An additional 90 have been freed from this ancient tribal bondage.
