(Sudan)–A delegation from Australia’s mainstream churches has called for an end to the racial, economic and religious persecution in southern Sudan. The National Islamic Front government, based in Khartoum, is being accused of carrying out a holy war against the southerners, who are mainly Christians. The churches estimate that six million people have been displaced within Sudan. Please pray that the testimony of the believers remains strong, despite the persecution.
