(East Africa)–Hunger has cast a huge shadow over East Africa. According to African Enterprise, officials a food crisis is sweeping across this south-central region and affecting Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Christian agencies are in the forefront, helping to alleviate the situation, but the drought is so severe that African Enterprise is appealing to the worldwide community for financial help. AE will use the funds to purchase and distribute maize to needy families, with the hope of sharing the Gospel. Call 1-800-MR AFRICA to help.
