(India)–Evangelical churches are asking for Bibles to lead people to Christ in the wake of last month’s earthquake in India. International Bible Society officials say while there’s a need for food, water and shelter, churches have made requests for 200-thousand New Testaments and 50-thousand Bibles in the Gujarati language. In response IBS is developing a special earthquake edition of the New Testament called, The Supreme God. The scriptures will be printed as funds become available.
