(Russia)–Keston News reports that Russian police have broken up several open-air evangelistic campaigns throughout different regions. The specific group targeted by police has refused to register under Russia’s religion laws. In several instances, Christians were fined and jailed for violating public order. However, the trouble may continue for believers due to a broad interpretation of the country’s 1997 law on religion. Please pray for evangelistic outreach to be able to continue.
