An American evangelist is seeing many turn to Christ in Armenia. Evangelist Sammy Tippit says Armenia is a Christian-based nation in an area surrounded on all sides by Muslim countries hostile to the Gospel. Tippit just concluded a five-day tour of the country, accompanied by pastors and leaders from a number of ethnic areas. He says it’s an ongoing work. “We’ve got pastors and leaders from other Muslim countries. I cannot mention the names of the countries where they’re from. Just know that they’re from some of the most difficult countries in the world, and training, teaching, preaching and ministering as well as doing some evangelistic meetings.” According to officials with Sammy Tippit Ministries, in addition to the many who came to Christ, the church leaders conference yielded a spirit of repentance. He asks believers to remember these leaders in prayer. “I’m really excited about the potential of what’s come out of this conference, as it will effect Muslim countries, and especially Muslim countries that have opposed the Gospel.”
