(Afghanistan)– World Concern reports that over the last few months, northeastern Afghanistan has received sufficient rainfall to produce an adequate harvest after years of extreme drought. In spite of the rain, the World Food Program still predicts major food shortages in the coming year. In anticipation of that need, World Concern is putting seed distribution as a top priority for the fall planting season.
