(India)–Meanwhile, Bibles for the World has an unprecedented opportunity to share Christ with Indians November 4th. More than one-million Dalits, the outcasts of Indian society, are expecting to renounce their Hindu faith during a huge gathering. Bibles for the World’s Rochunga Pudaite says he’ll be speaking about why Christ is good for the untouchables. “I think this is going to open a tremendous door of evangelism. The upper caste Hindus are not going to stand idle and they’ll be tremendous persecutions. And, in fact, many of my people are wondering whether I should even speak there for fear of personal safety and security.” Pudaite says they’re also purchasing advertising in the event’s eight page program. “That advertisement will cost us about $5,000 U-S dollars. But, I think it’s worth it for a program that will be distributed to one-million people. And, there we’re going to tell them why Christianity is good for them.”
