Meanwhile, leaders are saying it is evident that the Jesus Film Project is helping church growth in the Philippines. Couples traveling through the island nation have taken 26 different language versions of the film and are distributing them in thousands of communities. As a result, church attendance has increased and at least six churches have been started as a result of this outreach ministry. The Jesus Film team is hoping to reach more than 40-thousand Filipino communities with the Gospel.
