(Argentina)–And, nearly half a million Christians traveled to Argentina’s capital from all parts of the country in response to a call by the National Christian Evangelical Council. They gathered to pray for their nation in the midst of a severe recession that has left nearly a third of the population unemployed. Police estimate that more than 18-thousand evangelical churches came together in the center of Buenos Aires for what is thought to be the largest evangelistic prayer gathering in the country’s history.
