(USA)–And finally, students are getting a small taste of what it’s like to live in a country closed to the Gospel. It’s Open Doors Ministries Student Underground program. Open Doors Jose O’Neill is the coordinator. He describes the program that takes place on University campuses. “And we simulate as if the campus was transformed into a persecuted country. So, the students come in for a time of worship, then they have to try to find their underground prayer service. And, then we have all these guys dress up like secret police. They start interrogating these kids about their faith. They send them into interrogation rooms.” O’Neill says the program encourages young people to get involved in ministry to areas closed to the Gospel. “They take trips to China and other parts. They actually pray for the Muslim countries. And now, they’re actually looking into all these programs that we are doing because they are curious – they want to know.”
