(USA)–And finally, a Bible translation ministry is making plans to aggressively increase the amount of Bible translation work they’re doing around the world. The Seed Company, a ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators, empowers nationals to translate scripture. The Seed Company’s Scott Fetteroff describes their three year strategic plan. “We believe that God, over the next three years, would have us impact a total of 400 languages, impacting about 110-million people in various ways through partnerships with other ministries to get people the scripture for the very first time. It’s going to have to be a huge God thing.” 12-million dollars is needed for the project. Fetteroff says this will have a huge impact on evangelism. “We’re working with the Jesus Film Project on a number of these languages to get the Jesus Film translated first and then the Gospel of Luke. We’re working with the Southern Baptists and the Presbyterians and YWAM and other ministries to make an impact.”
