(USA)–And, Transport For Christ continues to reach out to one of the largest segments of the unevangelized populations in the United States. The ministry has proved to be so popular at truck stops, that it is growing again. The newest mobile chapel will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan. TFC’s Grand Rapids’ chaplain Kevin Van Horn explains their purpose. “Transport For Christ provides chapels throughout the United States and Russia and other parts of the country that minister to truck drivers who can’t get home during Sunday services.” Van Horn adds that their outreach covers more than just Sundays. He says chaplains are on duty 24-hours a day, seven days a week. “We stand ready to do not only Sunday ministry, but also counseling and other forms of ministry that truck drivers cannot get anywhere else while they’re on the road.” TFC has 23 permanent chapels across the U-S, with two in Canada and three in Moscow, Russia.
