Uruguayans embark on a missions trip to Bolivia

By October 2, 2003

Bolivia (MNN)–Several members of a Christian church in Uruguay are planning to travel to Bolivia in October as part of a short-term missions project.

The group will travel for several days and then meet up with missionaries who serve with Grace Ministries International. The group will make contact with Jerry and DeAnna Olson in Cocabama and then head to Santa Cruz to serve the Lord there with Talo, a Uruguayan student from Grace Bible College, who is doing his internship with missionary Frosty Hansen.

GMI missionaries in Bolivia have been working with the national church organization in the areas of evangelism and leadership training. They also minister to the youth in three schools where the students come in contact with the Gospel message through Christian education and through a year-round camp program.
