A Bible School celebrates new growth in Haiti.

Haiti (MNN)–Haiti’s history paints a dark picture of voodoo, and a day-to-day struggle with human and spiritual poverty.

That is exactly why so many are responding to the voice of truth when they hear it. Through Radio 4VEH, the Gospel is blanketed over the island.

From there, there’s discipleship, and often, these believers have a passion to share their newfound hope with others around them.

Men For Missions, the layman’s voice of OMS International reports the privilege of being part of new outreach in Haiti.

A month ago, the team was part of the groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus for Emmaus Biblical Seminary.

There are 59 students enrolled. Classes began two weeks ago. About 20 teachers are involved in preparing these Haitians to spread the Gospel in Haiti’s churches and communities.

Pray for the teaching staff as they begin the new school year.

In addition, there are other campaigns going on supporting that evangelistic vision. Every Community for Christ (ECC) is a biblically-based team ministry, committed to the establishment of Spirit-led churches.

Teams start churches in unreached urban and rural areas through door-to-door evangelization, Bible studies, literature distribution, and open-air campaigns.

Because Haitians are excited about their newfound freedom in Christ, look for more exciting growth to happen in a vibrant church.
