Celebrating Scripture dedications throughout the year.

By January 9, 2004

Papua New Guinea (WBT/MNN)–Wycliffe Bible Translators say two New Testament dedications are slated in the first four months of 2004.

Next, Thursday, January 15th, teams will dedicate the New Testament in the Mengen language of Papua New Guinea.

In April, teams dedicate the New Testament in Finallig of Philippines (April 16). Pray for divine guidance and protection for all the preparations in these exciting events.

Wycliffe’s mission is to assist the church in making disciples of all nations through Bible translation.

In other exciting news, the Kwara’ae New Testament has been delivered to the Solomon Islands. Festivities to dedicate and begin distribution of the New Testament have already taken place, but this translation will facilitate the start of three other translation projects in languages closely related to Kwara’ae.

Praise the Lord for talented Solomon Island men who are working in these related languages.
