By February 19, 2004

Thailand (MNN)–Operation Blessing’s outreach center in Thailand recently held its’ 20th medical mission.

Volunteers and staff had the privilege of serving 404 children and adults living in the Khun Yuam District. Huey Nam Khao Church is located in the jungle village that is home to the Karen tribe; an uneducated and secluded people group. The nearest hospital is more than 200 miles away.

Operation Blessing has sent volunteers and staff into the area to help young and old alike who could benefit from minor surgery, medicine and other medical procedures. The people were also taught basic health education.

Every month teams of Operation Blessing volunteers are conducting medical missions around the world. They provide basic health care to children and their families and share the love of Christ through their service.
