(Sudan)–Next, the BBC reports that around 100 Christians were arrested in the Sudanese capital after a planned crusade by German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was cancelled at the last minute. Several people were injured in clashes with police, who fired tear gas into a church where a meeting was being held to discuss protesting the decision. The Panafrican News Agency said that government officials had decided the meetings needed to be moved to a different venue to avoid religious tensions.
