Meanwhile, Mission India is reporting the murder of a Christian leprosy worker. According to Mission India’s David DeGroot, 52-year old Yesu Das was working in the Hyderabad area, tending to leprosy victims and overseeing a small church. Newspaper accounts say on September 11th, Das went with two strangers to an isolated area outside of town, where he was tortured and brutally murdered. Police have not arrested any suspects. Pray for Das’ family during this time and for the safety of believers.
